Freedom Chess Tournament — Qualification Registration

Presented by Boston Intellectuals, Ivy Standard, and the Harvard Students Team, and sponsored by Freedom Bank, the Freedom Chess Tournament is a prestigious scholastic competition held on the Harvard University campus. Players compete in a 5-round Swiss-system event (time control G/30 + 5s increment) across three sections — Open, U1200, and U800 — with trophies for the top three per section and medals for the top ten overall.

The program runs for 3 days, 9:00 AM – 1:00/1:30 PM daily. Includes Harvard visits, workshops, an official campus tour, and a visit to the Harvard Museum.

All competitors must register below for qualification. Pre-registration is required; walk-in entry is allowed only if space permits. Registration fee: $595 — free when joining the Ivy League Tour full package as a school group.
