Boston Intellectuals · Annual Spring Championship
Following the tradition of the world's leading olympiads — where the greatest prizes are scholarships, internships, and doors to the future — every champion of The Finale wins more than a trophy.
Our Mission: create a pipeline into the world's top colleges — identifying talented winners and preparing them for the next level.
Champions of each championship · Chess · Math · SER Fairs · AI
Every champion chooses one of two career-defining grand prizes — both fully sponsored by Boston Intellectuals:
A complete admissions counseling program with Harvard-based college counseling agencies: personal admissions strategy, college list building, application and essay mentoring, and interview preparation — guiding the champion all the way to top-college applications. Sponsored by Boston Intellectuals.
A fully funded internship placement at one of the world's leading institutions or technology firms — such as MIT labs, Boston Dynamics, and other top research centers of that caliber — with the program fee covered in full. Real research, real engineering, real mentors. Sponsored by Boston Intellectuals.
Runners-up of each championship
The runner-up steps onto the same pipeline — one level up from where they started:
Bronze medalists of each championship
Gold medals for the top three in every chess section (Open, U1200, U800) and every math division (Middle & High School), plus Top-10 medals overall.
Best Science Project, Best Engineering Design, and Best Robot awards at the Fairs — each with a category trophy and judges' commendation.
Best AI Project and AI Challenge Top Scorer — plus the Responsible AI Award for the project that best serves society.
Best Speaker and dedicated ESL/EFL awards at the Debate Championship, following international championship practice.
Team trophies for the winning math team, fair team projects, and debate squads — every member medaled.
Awarded across all championships for extraordinary creativity, sportsmanship, or perseverance — because character is talent too.
All finalists receive the official Certificate of The Finale at Harvard, a participation letter for their academic portfolio, membership in the Boston Intellectuals alumni network — and three days of Harvard visits, workshops, an official campus tour, and the Harvard Museum. Nobody leaves Cambridge empty-handed.
Prize terms: grand prizes are granted per winning entry (team prizes are shared by team members or granted as team placements); winner identity and qualification are verified before prize activation; counseling and internship prizes are delivered through independent counseling agencies and host institutions, are subject to their admission requirements and scheduling, and must be activated within 12 months of the award ceremony; prizes are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent. Institutions and firms named as examples (e.g., MIT, Boston Dynamics) refer to placement destinations arranged through internship programs and do not imply endorsement. Full terms are provided to winners at the ceremony.
