How the pathway works

Every regional round mirrors the Harvard events — the same disciplines (Chess, Math, SER Fairs, AI, and Debate), the same judging standards. Your result at a regional is a recognized qualification: place at the top and you carry a certificate that opens the door to The Finale.

🇰🇿 Almaty, Kazakhstan

Central Asia hub

Our Central Asian gateway, serving Kazakhstan and neighbouring countries. A natural feeder given the region's strong tradition in mathematics and chess.

Qualify here: Top placements in each discipline earn a Finale invitation at Harvard, with an invitation letter for visa support issued after qualification.

🇺🇿 Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Central Asia hub

Serving Uzbekistan and the wider Central Asian region, with a fast-growing base of young competitors in math, science, and AI.

Qualify here: Regional winners advance to The Finale at Harvard; strong SER Fairs and AI projects carry their materials forward for championship judging.

Middle East hub

Our Gulf hub, drawing an international student community across the Middle East. A major crossroads with world-class venues and strong STEM schools.

Qualify here: Finalists progress to Harvard; the region's international schools make this a strong route for ESL/EFL debaters and multidisciplinary finalists.

East Asia hub

Our East Asian hub, connecting a highly competitive academic community across the region, with deep benches in math and robotics.

Qualify here: Top competitors earn Finale places at Harvard; robotics and AI finalists bring their builds and repositories forward for the technical interviews.

Southeast Asia hub

Our Southeast Asian gateway, serving Indonesia and neighbouring nations — one of the largest and youngest talent pools in the network.

Qualify here: Regional medalists advance to The Finale at Harvard, with visa-support letters issued on qualification for international travel.

Or host a regional round as a school, university, or education organization in one of these hubs (or propose a new city).
