Boston Intellectuals · Cambridge, MA
A non-profit empowering talented students from diverse backgrounds through inclusive academic competitions — from chess and mathematics to AI, robotics, science fairs, and debate — culminating each spring in The Finale at Harvard.
Who We Are
Boston Intellectuals (DBA of Intellectuals League Inc.) is a non-profit educational and social enterprise based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We conduct fairs, tournaments, and Olympiads that give students a real venue to showcase intellectual skill — and to build the critical thinking, research ability, and communication that carry them into the best universities and careers.
Compete
Every event runs on the Harvard campus with campus tours, workshops with the Harvard Students Team, and a Certificate & Award Ceremony. Pick your discipline:
5-round Swiss in three sections — Open (FIDE rated), U1200, and U800. Trophies, medals, and three days at Harvard.
Prepare & Register → ∑Sprint, Target, Team, and the famous live-scored Guts round. AMC/AIME-level problems in MS and HS divisions.
Prepare & Register → 🤖Two tracks: the proctored AI Challenge (Round 1 needs no coding) and the AI Project you build and defend before judges.
Prepare & Register → 🔬Present an original investigation, design, or robot to a judging panel — ISEF-style abstracts and interviews.
Prepare & Register → 🗣World Schools style: squads of 3–5, prepared and impromptu motions, with dedicated ESL/EFL speaker awards.
Prepare & Register → 🌍Compete near home — Almaty, Tashkent, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, or Jakarta — or apply to host a round in your city.
Compete or Host → 🏆Our annual spring championship at Harvard. Regional winners, Harvard qualifiers, and wildcards converge across all disciplines.
The Road to Harvard → 🎓Free college counseling by Harvard-based agencies and fully funded internships — prizes that open doors, not just shelves.
See the Prizes → 🗺An 8-day Ivy League Educational Camp Tour right after your event — Harvard to Yale, Boston to DC, with our sister company Ivy Standard.
Explore the Tour →Every regional round mirrors the Harvard events — same disciplines, same judging standards.
